Nipsey Hussle - An admirable, forward-thinking leader, investor & philanthropist.
Nipsey had a very strategic plan. I appreciate how well he spoke his community's language & left a blueprint.
As I reflect on my personal why's I often think of him & keep my painting in my creative workspace.
I'm encouraged by the principles he preached but mostly inspired by his consistency & accomplishments. It's a reflection of how little time he wasted while he was here. Honoring his legacy looks different for every fan. Whether we're raising a family, living a healthier lifestyle, investing, building a ministry or organization, etc.
We have to remember there is no role too small to honor a legacy. And I think it's worthwhile to 'stick to the script' as it aligns with our personal values. 🙏
I pray we stay encouraged & focused. I pray our temporary circumstances never dictate our daily decisions.
Although our communities have taken lots of "L's" this year we certainty get an "A" for the continuous effort. It's not the results but how unified we've become along the way. I am proudly writing this blog today. My blogs a couple of years ago looked a lot different. It had a vision but lacked unity, strategy & faith in the capabilities of the community. Today, I'm proud of the alignment and grace we've shown ourselves as we learn success principles & invest collectively. The movement doesn't have to be perfect just strategically POWERFUL.
2020 is just a test & I refuse to 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙪𝙥 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚 𝙖 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. Everything is within reach. We've come too far. In fact, I want to thank God in advance for the abundance and overflow now. If you planted your seeds it is time to reap your harvest.
