đ This photo popped up as a memory today. Memories normally make me cringe. I'm the size in the 3rd photo right now but I have confidence that my consistency & belief will lead me back to the results I'm working towards. I was actually in a serious learning stage in the last 2 images.
đ I noticed when a lot of us fall off on our health journey we seem to dwell on how we used to look & how much weight we've gained since then. Some of us won't take a new photo, travel where we always wanted to go, we go out less, we explain to others how much we've fallen off when no one even asked. đđžââď¸ It's almost like we forget to live.
đ I snap pictures at every stage of my life because I want to remember everything & appreciate how far I've come. This season of life is honestly the first time I feel 10x better today than I did in either photo.
đ I'm purpose-filled, I'm serving, I survived some of the worst days this past year. I don't restrict my food or constantly count carbs & calories. I'm comfortable with how long it takes to reach my goals.
đ The growth that takes place in between these transformations is a non-scale victory I'm finally proud of.
đ Let us not forget...
+To track the growth.
+The days we called on God for our every need.
+The days he fulfilled those needs.
+The days of gratitude.
+The small wins & teaching moments.
đ Get excited about your growth, get excited that all you know now is not all there is to know about your personal journey.
Don't Get Better, Live Well đż
